Having Anchorage integrated systems llc Alarm install a burglar alarm system in your home protects you and your family from the threats of vandalism and burglaries. A burglar alarm system uses devices such as motion detectors, door/window contacts, and glassbreak sensors to trigger a siren to sound while communicating an alarm to our UL Monitoring station. Many times just having the siren can cause criminals to flee, but if this first level of protection proves to be ineffective our trained dispatchers are busy notifying you and the emergency authorities to investigate.
Keypad – Main control center of security system.
Door Contact – Installed on doorways. Detects opening of doors.
Motion Detector – Industry mainly uses Infrared motion detectors. Devices detect (body) heat as opposed to doppler radio or frequency shift.
Window Contact – Same as door contacts but can detect windows being opened.
Glassbreak Sensor – two type commonly used to detect glassbreak, one listens for the sound of glass break and the other detects vibration on the glass.
